Kepala BPDASHL Bersama Tim Turun Tangani Kawasan Abrasi

BENGKALIS – Menanggapi hasil surve Tim BPDASHL dan KPH bengkalis ke beberapa lokasi kawasan lindung daerah aliran sungai dan daerah lindung sepadan pantai beberapa waktu sebelumnya yang terakhir ke areal pantai Desa pambang pesisir Kecamatan bantan kabupaten bengkalis yang cukup parah terkena abrasi.

Hal itu telah menjadi pertimbangan khusus bagi Kapala BPDASHL Indragiri Rokan KemenLHK RI Ibu Ir. Tri Esti Indrarwati, M.Si, untuk turun ke lapangan memimpin langsung tim yang beranggotakan 6 orang dari jajaran Petugas BPDASHL Indragiri Rokan yang terdiri dari
Desmantoro, S.Hut., M.Si. (Kepala Seksi RHL) Sigit Budi Nugroho, S.Si., M.Sc. (Kepala Seksi Evaluasi DASHL) Henny Daniati, S.Sos,
Bayu Dewanto, S.Hut, Eka Sunardi bersama sementara dari KPH Bengkalis Pulau yang ditangani langsung oleh Ir. Agus Rianto, M.T. selaku Kepala KPH bengkalis Pulau, Bustami, S.H. (Kasi Perlindungan KSDAE & PM), beserta 1 orang staf operator GIS.

Menurut Desmantoro,S.hut kepada media ini, Kehadiran tim dalam rangka penandatanganan Nota Kesepahaman & Kontrak Swakelola Padat Karya Mangrove bersama Kelompok-kelompok Masyarakat Pelaksana Padat Karya Mangrove di Pulau Bengkalis. Selain itu, tim juga akan meninjau & menganalisis kondisi abrasi serta degradasi ekosistem mangrove di pulau bengkalis, khususnya di Desa Muntai & Desa Muntai Barat.

Hasil peninjauan & telaah tim akan menjadi dasar bagi tindaklanjut rehabilitasi ekosistem hutan mangrove di wilayah tersebut.

Dikatakan roro, Pelaksanaan pemulihaan ekosistem mangrove di masa pandemi Covid-19 sesuai arahan Menteri LHK & Dirjen PDASHL melalui program Padat Karya Mangrove (PKM) yang merupakan bagian dari Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional (PEN), khususnya bagi masyarakat di daerah pesisir dan sekitarnya yang terdampak.

Kemudian, Penetapan target berdasarkan 3 parameter utama, yaitu Kondisi Lokasi (luasan & tingkat kekritisan), Ketersediaan Bibit/Propagul, & Kelembagaan Kelompok Masyarakat.

“Diharapkan dengan terlaksananya PEN PKM ini, dapat memperbaiki kondisi ekosistem mangrove serta ikut menggerakkan roda ekonomi masyarakat di masa pandemi”, ungkap beliau saat rapat briping di kantor KPH Pulau (8/ 10/2020) bersama anggota tim serta pengurus LSM Ikatan pemuda melayu peduli lingkungan (IPMPL) yang bertindak selaku pembina kelompok tani hutan yang akan mengeksekusi kegiatan di tiga desa dalam wilayah kecamatan Bantan kab. Bengkalis.(***)
