Diduga Merusak Lingkungan Hidup, LSM Gemantara Raya Riau Akan Melaporkan Perusahaan PT. Giga Putra Perkasa

Tim Lembaga Gemantara Raya bersama-sama beberapa perwakilan media turun mentah limbah perusahaan yang mencemari lingkungan hidup di daerah Desa Kabun Kabupaten Rokahulu Riau. Limbah yang diduga berasal dari perusahaan PT.Giga Putra Perkasa, yang beralamat di Jl.Bangkinang-Pasir Pangaraian.
Limbah pabrik kelapa sawit (PKS) tersebut menurut pantauan tim diduga telah merusak lingkungan hidup, bahkan dikabarkan telah meluluh lantakan tanam sawit dan tanaman lain milik warga sekitar perusahaan, dan bahkan sepanjang aliran yang dilalui air limbah perusahaan tersebut. Diakibatkan aliran parit perusahaan yang tidak bermuara tersebut selalu mengakibatkan banjir dan bermuara di kebun2 masyarakat, “tutur sumber yang tidak sebutkan namanya tersebut”.
Saat menerima laporan tim investigasi, dan berharap informasi masyarakat akhirnya Sekretaris Jenderal Lembaga Gemantara Raya bersama tim menyimpulkan untuk menindaklanjuti permasalahan ini. Kita sedang berupaya konfirmasi persuasif dengan pemilik perusahaan (red), dan seterusnya seperti yang kita lakukan segera melaporkan dan meminta perusahaan tersebut di cabut izin kotensi, bahkan meminta penutupan perusahaan bila mana terbukti merusak lingkungan hidup.”tutur Sekjend”.
Ditempat terpisah wartawan pasca tim investigasi juga mengkonfirmasi hal ini kepada perusahaan melalui humas Bpk Sanusi melalui kontaknya +62 821-73xxxxxx, belum ada jawaban.
Hingga berita ini dilansir oleh beberapa media, Sekjend Gemantara Raya memastikan bahwa akan segera ambil sikap setelah komuniksasi pihak perusahaan.
