Dumai – Dengan masih beroperasinya judi gelper di Kota Dumai tentunya sangat disayangkan, dan mengutuk keras. terlebih lagi saat ini umat islam, khusunya yang berada di kota dumai sedang melaksanakan ibadah puasa. Tentu aktivitas haram itu sangat mengganggu terkhususkan umat islam menjalankan ibadah puasa.
Tentunya kita mempertanyakan dimana ketegasan Pemkot Dumai dalam memberantas perjudian di wilayahnya? Kenapa pemkot Dumai seakan tutup mata dan tidak perduli akan keresahan masyarakatnya yang sudah risih terhadap aktivitas judi gelper itu?
Ketua DPD Persatuan Wartawan Republik Indonesia (PWRI) Feri Windria mengutuk keras masih adanya praktik perjudian Gelper di disaat masyarakat Kota Dumai menjalankan ibadah Puasa. saat dikonfirmasi awak media terkait masih adanya praktek judi gelper di Kota Dumai, (Senin, 20/4/21).
“Mengutuk Keras masih beroperasinya judi gelper di Kota Dumai terlebih lagi saat ini umat islam, khusunya yang berada di Kota Dumai sedang melaksanakan ibadah puasa. Tentu aktivitas haram itu sangat mengganggu khususnya umat islam menjalankan ibadah puasa”, kata Feri.
Ketua DPD PWRI Riau itu mempertanyakan keseriusan Walikota Dumai dalam memberantas praktik perjudian di wilayahnya.
“Dimana ketegasan Pemkot Dumai dalam memberantas perjudian di wilayahnya? Kenapa Pemkot Dumai seakan tutup mata dan tidak perduli akan keresahan masyarakatnya yang sudah risih terhadap aktivitas judi gelper itu” tanya Feri.
Ketua DPD PWRI Riau itu mengatakan Jika merujuk kepada Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Panjang Daerah (RPJPD) Visi Kota Dumai 2021-2026 “Terwujudnya Dumai Sebagai Kota Pelabuhan Dan Industri Yang Unggul Dan Bertumpu Pada Budaya Melayu “. “tentu sangat disayangkan, ibarat pepatah jauh panggang dari api, apa yang telah menjadi Visi Misi Pemkot Dumai itu tidak sesuai dengan aplikasi dilapangan”.
Ditambahkan oleh Feri, Didalam makna filosofis, visi misi itu menjadikan kebudayaan melayu sebagai roh pembangunan Kota Dumai. “Sedangkan kita tahu budaya melayu didalam penerapannya bernafaskan ajaran islam”, pungkasnya.
“Tentunya wajib kita pertanyakan keseriusan Walikota Dumai dalam “mengamalkan” Visi Misi Kota Dumai yang telah dicanangkannya, atau visi misi itu hanya sebagai pemanis kata saja tanpa diikuti dengan implementasi yang konkret, “tutur Feri.
Seharusnya, menurut Feri, jika Walikota Dumai H. Paisal benar-benar berniat mewujudkan visi misinya, berangus semua aktivitas perjudian yang ada di kota Dumai, hingga masyarakat Kota Dumai terbebas dari salah satu penyakit masyarakat itu.
“Namun Jika tidak ada langkah Kongkrit dari Pemkot Dumai dalam memberantas Praktek perjudian itu, maka kita akan lakukan upaya hukum, dengan melaporkan ke Polda Riau” pungkasnya.
“Apakah Walikota Dumai berani memberangus segala bentuk perjudian di Kota Dumai? Mari sama-sama kita lihat langkah konkritnya, “tutup ketua DPD PWRI Riau itu.( * )
